XRAY Team Brasil wins again

Flavio Salinet wins round 2 of the Curitibano Championship that was held at the New Hobby Track. He proved that he is in great shape this year.

Fabiano Franco, also of XRAY TEAM BRASIL, was top qualifier with a new track record 9.660sec followed by Lincoln Almeida (9.710sec) and Flavio Salinet (9.780sec). Everyone was surprised with Paulo Padilha (GP Masters) who took 4th place with his new XRAY T2.

When the heat started, Fabiano and Lincoln battled for 1st place through 'til the end. In the middle Flavio Salinet and Chico Lima battle for 3rd.

After all 5 heats, the final results were:

1 – Flávio Loures Salinet – XRAY T2
2 – Lincoln Almeida – Corally RDX
3 – Fabiano Franco - TQ - XRAY T2
4 – Paulo Roberto Padilha – XRAY T2
5 – Clarel Castilhos – XRAY T2
6 – Francisco Lima – Corally RDX
7 – Otávio Langowski – Corally RDX
8 – Jonas Ferstemberg – XRAY T2
9 – AndrĂ© Brandt – Associated TC4
10 – Hamilton Neto – Associated TC4 FT

With this victory, Flavio Salinet is leading the championship followed by Fabiano Franco.

The next event will be on the S.T.A.R track located 40km from Curitiba, which is the same track that the state championship was raced at last year.
